I bathe my palms in wine and bestow upon thy fair fond face the nine pure gifts…

The music and words I am sharing with you touch on aspects of my own musical and spiritual journey. I wouldn’t be sharing any of this with you if it weren’t for the McGillivray family, Christine Manning, Sasha Johnson Manning, my teacher Muhammed Saho and my parents Neil & Marilyn Marland.

The pieces reflect on different aspects of what it means to be a human being. We’re often so busy “doing” we forget to be “beings”. I hope you can find a little time to stop “doing" for a moment and be immersed in these reflections.

Where music challenges your ears, reflect on words and where words seem abstract, absorb the music. Open your mind and enter. It’s an earnest reflection of my ongoing, lifelong pilgrimage to the centre of humanity where music unites all.
